Authorized Personnel: Employee location and timekeeping data is accessible to authorized managers and administrators within OC Solar for operational purposes.

4. Mobile Application

The OC Solar App requests the following device permissions:

Location (including background location): To verify employee proximity to job sites and track crew presence during active work shifts. Background location is only collected while an employee is clocked in.

Camera: To take profile photos and capture job site documentation.

Photo Library: To select existing photos for profile images and job site captures.

Push Notifications: To deliver timekeeping reminders (meal period, overtime, and end-of-day warnings), schedule updates, and work-related alerts.

You may disable these permissions through your device settings at any time, though doing so may limit app functionality.

5. Mobile Information

If you provide your mobile phone number, it will be used solely for the purposes outlined above (e.g., updates, notifications, or service-related communications).

We do not share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

6. Data Retention

•Timekeeping and payroll records are retained in accordance with California labor law requirements.

•Location history is retained for up to 24 hours per active shift and then cleared.

•Project records are retained for the duration of the project and as required by law.

•You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us (see Section 12).

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
